Me and my GPU are bored of the Q3 Engine ...
That's why i try to rebuild the enemy territory standard maps for day of defeat source. It's not 1=1 but i want to try to have the enemy territory feeling in dod's. Let's see how long i need for goldrush map -------------------- |

That looks great already, Stoer, I'm looking forward to seeing the end result . You can plant dyna/tnt at the barriers and escort tanks too, as you know already, just like Wolf ET, so this should be a blast .

Thanx ^^
ZITAT That looks great already, Stoer, I'm looking forward to seeing the end result respect.gif . If there are maps where you can escort a tank then just give me the name of this map and i will see if it's possible. ZITAT is it should be portable into day of infamy Maybe. I opened a "day of infamy" map with Hammer editor. But i had this game only one day then the devs removed the game from my lib (Alpha Ver.) -------------------- |

Hi Thats some Nice work stoer also as you did have the day of infamy key for the day,if you can have a look in the day of infamy bin folder there you will find some good tools F:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\dayofinfamy\bin were f: would be the drive you installed steam in. also there is a good editor for loading .map for most of the quake based games and then exporting to the source engine. if you want to i will provide a link to my dropbox for textures and stuff.. -------------------- |

Remember all the maps we asked you to upload to the SL Day of Defeat Source server? That was the start of our "detonation" map collection, some with escortable vehicles and tank barriers to be destroyed . Here's an excellent example of this: DoD V2 - Beta 3 The tank's wheels are not animated and the model needs clipped, but it still works really well . -------------------- |

But the first point is the rebuild the maps himself ;) -------------------- |

Houston we have a problem!!!
Converting is a good method to make fast a small map BUT Goldrush is a big map and i believe it's a bad idea to convert Goldrush into Source. Because of the converting in some places the fps falls from around 300fps down to 60fps or less. THATS BAD!!! It means I have to rebuild all the maps without using a converter and this takes a lot more time. BUT I NEVER GIVE UP!!! Stay tuned :P -------------------- |
