Installation: Place the eichsfeld.pk3 file in your etmain directory.

Default timelimit: 12 minutes
Axis spawn (defense): 30 seconds
Allied spawn (offense): 20 seconds


Description Allied:

Destroy the Eichsfeld Controls in the Platform garrison. Beware of attacks through the Courtyard Wall or the Main blast Door.

Description Axis:

Protect the Eichsfeld Controls in the Platform garrison. Infiltrate the position: Either from the Main blast Door or through the Courtyard Wall and attack them.

Description neutral:

The Allies must take the Entrance Area and then attack the Controls in the Control Room. The Axis must hold the Entrance Area as long as possible then mount a last ditch effort to defend the Eichsfeld Controls.

Note just that i have seen that there are any missing textures...

Then if you need some help for completing your map i can provide to you all the textures that you need , none problem :)

But say me , can you fix the flashing of the texture "luff.tga" ?

I have tried to replace by another tga , a jpeg , i have all tried and nothing changes then it comes from the map i guess.

I hope you understand me , i mean it displays and after it doesn't , it displays etc etc..

done... mistake in the Eichsfeld.shader file ... but repaired. ;)

Aber du weist das Leinefelde erst in den 60gern zur Stadt wurde.?
Davor war es noch ein kleines Dörfchen. ;)

Good evening,

First of all, thank you for making this map :) Also nice to see a map where the mapper took the time to drag edges to reduce the tris count!

Aside the missing textures (I suggest you to have a clean install aside the gaming and/or mapping one(s) to check), I noticed few issues (but did not have the time to finish it earlier, will do):

In the order:
- You can jump off that tower on a clip, then fall on crates and then you can only go below the tower, and you're stuck
- Low FPS when you exit the Allied Spawn: beyond 50k tris :/ Also there, the body may block the movement, you could clip it so it's like a ramp to avoid that
- Personal POV, but it's strange to have wood for that water bed... Since you lived there, I guess I can be wrong ^^'
- Tracks of dirt while the whole place is made of pavements; That's not much, but I find it to be not that logical, but I understand you wanted to put some detail there :)
- No dynamite hint while in front of that objective, even though there's a dynamite icon on the Command Map; Just an entity to add and it's done :)
- Two textures at the same place, at the right of that door
- You may select these faces and apply once the texture to avoid that noticeable effect

I'd also suggest to put areaportals inside the last dynamitable door, to increase the FPS before it get exploded, up to you

@kami I wanted to warn you that i have seen that there were any useless textures inside...as any banners etc...

I say it because i guess that you go to release a new version shortly then if you can think to lighten it at the same time it would be appreciated for sure !!

If so, do not worry have been replaced by other flags .
And the Team*dg! banner on the projector in Axen Spawn is from my ET Clan . ; )

But thanks for the Info , am still revising and going all out then bring as Eichsfeld-v2 .

In fact they are not asked by the map , then not used , but i let you working quietly...

I got the bots up and running and added 3 SWITCH goals and got the usual results, unfortunately. The 2 teams just end up having some sort of crazy "switch war", even when I've set their commands to "false", in respects to the bots activating the switches motz.gif .

If I disable the SWITCH goals the bots work fine, just basic ones for now. By the way, Kami, the Axis bots hate the tank at the Ladebucht and constantly attack it grin.gif .

You can use /bot debug_triggers on to see what trigger is detected by OB when they press it, and use it in a OnTrigger command to register a table where you'll successfully disable the SWITCH goal :)

Thanks for your reply, Mateos. The command I had to use was actually, /bot debugtriggers, I'd never have known about that command without your help. However, the information that it revealed confused me, more than anything else, I'm still in the "noob zone" when it comes to waypointing. Here's some of the info that appeared in the console:

<--->Trigger: TagName: tor_rechts_Moving Action: opening Entity



There were no SWITCH goals in the map, I had to create them, 3 of them. There may be syntax errors in my files too, Mateos, I try to check them as well as I can but, after 2 hard drive crashes and therefore 2 new installs, I can no longer get the ctrl+F9 key combination to function, I have no idea why that is the case, you'd think it would be a standard install feature for Notepad++.
