Alps 2: Public Beta release
Created by Moth and Recoil Models and some brushwork created by Splash Damage Download links http://returntocastlewolfenstein.filefront...le/Alps_2;54126 http://www.junkpile.co.uk/et/alps2_pb.zip (direct link) Put alps2_pb.pk3 in etmain, and alps2_pb_etpro in etpro. Then play. Allies attacking, designed for 3v3-8v8. Please report all bugs and any feedback to http://www.splashdamage.com/index.php?name...p=131500#131500. This is only a beta release, so there's no guarantees of perfection. There is still a substantial amount of work to be done, especially in increasing frame rates. Conceived as the second part of a trilogy, Alps 2 sees the Allies advance into a mining village high in the Alps, where the Axis have blocked a key strategic train line. The village has been fortified with a large defensive wall, and two bunkers armed with anti-tank guns. A small detachment of Allied soldiers must break through the defenses and clear the tunnel, so that reinforcements can be brought by train. A truck full of explosives has been brought with the Allied force in order to blast a hole in the wall once the anti-tank guns have been destroyed. However, maps of the area reveal an entrance to the mine outside the main defensive wall, and plans of the mine show a disused shaft passing through a railway service tunnel. If the mines can be broken into, this may be a possible attack route. Screenshots ![]() ![]() ![]()
