hi SL-Team,

I encountered little problems while including the servermonitor to our homepage.
for I have only one offical IP at hand but a few webservers running I had to make our page accesible through port forwarding.

URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration

now it's working fine.
the correct php directive is "allow_url_fopen = ON"

I mostly develop with mod_php/apache under sun_solaris and there the php.ini comes with different defaults than under gentoo_linux ... doof.gif
never noticed that so far ...

thx Proddi for giving me the hint
