I'm not entirely sure why you have any power to lock threads on this board NHL. That was entirely on topic and you know it, hence you didn't actually reply to it, so tried closing it instead. I wasn't the one going off topic and directing insults at me because someone has some kind of complex, my posts were entirely on topic from the OP, unless you don't actually understand english fully? (That would be a good enough reason!)

You can not compare points per minute from vastly different size servers, more players = more xp per minute than smaller servers... I won't bother explaining that further as i'm sure you have a basic grasp of maths if you are fluent in several languages. This was the original point that i was agreeing with the OP on. So would you care to add a serious reply rather than just closing something because you know i'm right but don't want to accept it?

I did also say i wouldn't mind helping with any programming etc, but you were too busy telling me to get a life for no apparent reason... which is actually off topic anyway. Whats with the argumentative attitude rather than adding constructive inputs??

Ok besides the Japanese, they do love their anime. What cartoon is that quote from anyway? I don't know anyone who watches any cartoons other than the simpsons or southpark. Let alone any adults who watch any of those at all.

why we can't use xp/min for a session? each player has the same conditions for that session and the absolut xp/min was not deciding. after session-calc there was an abstract "rating". u undestand this ? i think no...

Whats the abstract rating you talk about? They have the same conditions only relevant to each other, not to other players on other servers. You need some adjustment for number of players or spawn time.

The fact i'm pointing this out should show i'm serious, because I rarely play on servers with small amounts of players, this is to help those who do.

But its unfair to compare servers with different numbers of players.... ok so:

Server 1 has 60 players ( 8 sec spawn time, same map)

Server 2 has 20 players (8 sec spawn time, same map)

For server one if a player goes towards anywhere they are going to find lots of people and get xp quickly. This server has the higher player density so its very easy to spawn and kill several people and get the xp for it, its very unlikely that you will bemoving for more than a few seconds without finding someone to kill.

For server 2 it will be harder for a player to find others, it involves more walking without finding anyone. Both are playing on the same map, so same area of places, but this server has a lower player density. Thus the players will get less xp because they will spend more time walking, and then when they do find someone there will be less people to kill so less xp.



Also how can etpro with up to 30 second spawn time feature in the same rankings as Noquarters with 6 seconds.... theres absolutely no comparison possible. Their scores are only relevant to players of the same mod.

The description of 2 different servers, read above. Which Six is still insisting on arguing about just for the sake of it, he will never accept anything... such a moronic attitude clearly implies a low IQ.

you argue about a bad rating system, but will take someone seriously if he has a decent rating in this system? that is kind of paradox imho.
imo you cant compare the skill of two players without see them playing in teams against each other or even with each other.
