There's been quite a lot of talk about this subject in our chatbox on the SL main page. Schnoog's asked for a thread to be started, in order to deal with this subject and everyone's ideas too. So, here it is folks, have your say and help the Splatteladder management team know exactly what you're looking for .

I`ll try to explain it:

this are the current settings:

$ac_settings['samesubnet'] = 70;
$ac_settings['sameas'] = 50;

The identity is calculated as follows:

same guid => +100
same name => +50
same ip => 100
if not the same ip, but the same subnet (for example: Cheat-Player-IP 199.199.199.12 , actual challenge 199.199.199.24) => + 70
if not same ip and subnet, but the same AS => +50

If the sum of the addition is higher than $ac_settings['minlevel'] , which mean 60, the player is identified (the single rated can be discussed)

If a player-incident assignment is made and the incident is approved, the incident level of the server is used to choose either to raise an action or not.


To come to the more practical way:
If you enter an IP adress which is in the same subnet (254 valid adresses) with a level 5 incident, the IP adress raises the action defined for the server and level 5 type
Each IP adress in the range of 188.188.188.1 to 188.188.188.255 will raise a level 5 kick

If it would be easier, I can change the IP adresses for the LevelXUser to different subnets

For testing purposes it would be very nice to see combinations of good/bad IP, GUID, Name, all crazy things anybody can imagine :)
