To all those who go to run a 'christmas pack':

By experience i suggest to make any cross tests with 'et:legacy' because firstly it acts differently and then if u run an old 'christmas pack' keep in mind 'et:legacy' has been released recently and especially 'et:legacy' still be a 'beta version'.

If no it remembers to me at least 4 years ago when i had made my own 'christmas pack' in high quality moreover i had spend several months for making it properly and 'et:legacy' did not exist yet at the time...

Like I said earlier, bro, Dogster downloaded 3 different packs and he took the things he wanted from them and created a new one. What happened to your Christmas pack that you made?

Hi,

As i said previously i had none problem with my 'christmas pack' cause 'et:legacy' did not exist yet at the time (and my 'christmas pack' patched almost all the textures of my selection of 30/40 'maps' for 'christmas' , as i said it was in high quality and worked perfectly but i had spend several months for all that works properly).

In fact actually i suggested just for all those who want to run a 'christmas pack' to make any cross tests cause 'et:legacy' acts differrently...for avoiding any bad surprises.

By exemple i have 'et client classic' and i had warned u there was a disturbing defect (a brown texture in the bottom of the screen who looks like a brown arm so disturbing)...

I saw it when i was in spec on 'Dave' when he was cover and when he switched about weapons it did it almost each time (even 'Dave' seemed to see it as well because he had said it is normal he is african).

And i said to u as well that any 'christmas trees' had a problem of transparency (none transparency then it is black around the leaves) near the crates of construction...

I hope and i guess that all that is fixed

It was just for sharing my little experience , for helping because for my part when i do something i always try to make any cross tests...and there are often any surprises and if u have not seen what i have seen that is a bad surprise so near from 'christmas'...and yet i have not played longtime

Concretely it is for that i always wait for any feedbacks about my server because i can't all check alone if all works as expected and with the 2 clients...even if i do my best it is finally a nightmare

@Nico i tested these xmass pk3 , they work with nq 129 but nope with silent

Don't say to me u have again tried to come on my server via the 'FTP' then u know very well there is a very very fast link for none via the 'FTP' and like that u have all the required files in 1 shot.

U're a star , seriously you make me crying of laugh thanks for that

If no for my part each time i want to make a come back to '2003' i go on your server
