Hello everybody and a beautiful good morning.
I have a question, yesterday I watched some youtube vids, suddenly a weird video of RTCW appeared. RTCW Playing as Supersoldier How is that even possible? This dude is also playing as a Zombie, a normal Soldier and even as the escaped loper from XLABS. Does anybody here have any idea how to play as them? Which script is used or which config makes that somehow possible? I would be very happy for some answers, Stay Healthy and at home! Greets HeX|raven -------------------- |

We get our first clues about how Yo$hik has achieved this when you watch the video, Raven. Regardlass of which character he chooses to play, e.g., Loper, Zombie, Protosoldier, the Axis forces still see him as the enemy and attack him. Therefore, he's substituted the character of William Blazkowitcz for one of those models. I'm not sure how to achieve this, perhaps he just altered the lines of script in the 'model shader' file that are used to identify each in-game character.
As for activating the 'third person' model view in-game, that's quite straightforward: 1] Run 'Return to Castle Wolfenstein' in singleplayer mode. 2] Lower your in-game console, (press your tilde key) 3] Launch the map you want to test, using this command /devmap, (here's an example >>> /devmap village1 then hit your 'enter' key) 4] When the map begins, lower your console again and type this >>> /cg_thirdperson 1 (then hit your 'enter' key) You'll now be in 'third person' mode. If you want to revert back to the standard 'first person' view, lower your console again and type, /cg_thirdperson 0 . -------------------- |
