splatterladder goes 0.94, SL Options

Today Proddi installed an update and splatterladder.com arrives at version 0.94.

After our poll, where we asked whether to disable ranking for non-cheatprotected servers or not, the modifcations for take now effect. The users decision was quite obvious: 89% vs. 11%. So, when you play on servers w/o cheatprotection, your sessions don't contribute to the ranking.

Another new feature is the enhanced session history which includes now better descriptons (and icons) why a session was skipped or why it wasn't rated (e.g. the server runs bots or it is password protected). The buddytracker isn't affected by these changes - you wont miss any of your friends.

Another new feature is the improved news section. Our partner RtCW-Prison will provide us with the latest news (as for now only in German, but an English part is in the making). Comments or suggestions are welcome.

And in the end: Proddi fixed some bugs - so we now have the coolest splatterladder ever.

Yeah! my last results from yesterday werent calculated because: "Its possible, that u play with bots". Whats going on? If i have "good day" and play very well why my results wont be calculated??? Could anyone tell me what i have to do? Dont have "good days"??

mmhh am I the only one not satisfied with all these changes?

Firstly, everybody's rating is going up. I though that people playing on server without pb support had their rating standing by. But they're going up too. For example >B<Falkes? (one of the well known cheater) is always camping in the top 20, even if his scores are no longer calculated.

I lost ~700rank while my score is always growing up... I'm not really regarding at my ranking, not really important cause it depend on what type of server you play (making 15xp/mn on efterlyst is better than 30 on a Huge 50slots server) but it makes me perplex about the "new" splatterladder.

Erm, when are the non-punkbuster server sessions being removed? I still look at the top20 and most play non-punkbuster and no etpro. Will it just take a while for them to filter back out?

If I've understood the new SL version, cheaters will slowly disappear cause their rating time will slow down as long as they continue to play on cheating servers

So we have to be patient.

yeah, bolovar should be right.
its not like previous cheaters are banned or kicked or anything, they just wont get further calculating doing so. if they start playin on pb-servers they will be ranked as anyone else, but the ugly truth will then show their real skills. many will loose ranking is my guess.

still i dont quite get why most players ranking (efficiency) is raising. cant say im playin more effective than usual. anyone explain?
