Donation for your SplatterLadder, SL Options

As you all already may noticed and ignored we have on our main site (to the left, in the middle, yes this button) a PayPal Donation button.

Since the existing of splatterladder.com we gained almost 5.500 members. We are very grateful for your support!
But ... with this unbelievable number of members you lug alot on our resources especially at the rush hours we are on our absolut limit.

We are tracking 3.500 ET server, more than 350.000 ET player and more than 4.000 of you have also already reserved their nick name.

In the last 3 months our site was retrivaled more than 1,3 million (!!!) times and we have on a daily base more than 3.500 unique visitors with about 50.000 page hits.

Our coffee till doesn't last out to finance this project and we thought alot about it how we could fetch money for our site. We won't glut you with advertising, we won't bother you with annoying pop ups and we won't restrict ourselves by an illiberal network operator. We want to be independent to respond to your wishes, complains and suggestions.
At this point we see the PayPal Donation as a very good compromise.

Your afforded money flows completely in our monthly costs for the servers. We won't use your money for the yearly caribbean vacation of the whole sl.crew.

As inducement and return service you will receive more buddies for your money which you can split in buddies and server favorites.
(¤5,-/US$5,- = 10 buddies, ¤10,-/US$10,- = 20 buddies, ¤20,-/US$20,- = 50 buddies and so on). Clans may share their buddies within their members after a common donation.

More goodies are scheduled and have been already discussed in the forum. The donators will profit first of these goodies.
