i have put the way points in here omni-bot/et/nav folder as nomal

When you say, "they don't work", Amadeus, do you mean that the bots do not move? They stay in their spawn? Or do you see what I see on our Silent server, the bots run about, doing nothing?

Here's a couple of screenshots:









These botfiles have a "goals.gm" file, so I find this behaviour strange. I'll take a look at the files and see if I can find what the problem is.

You're welcome, Amadeus, it was nice to talk with on Splatterladder TS cheers.gif . I would still like to find out why the bots won't follow the commands of the "goals.gm" file, perhaps Mateos, who created the botfiles, can help us? Let's hope so grin.gif .

Good evening,

First, be sure to use the latest version of these waypoints, available in the OB repo (click on Download on the right, this folder contains them):

I recall expanding waypoint mapping and making bots do the first objectives, then I dunno...

I'm on Glider atm but if bots are really brainless and have issues following the action and helping I can give it a look and do quick improvements (goal managing). Let me know!

Edit: I also know some people do quick waypoints and upload them somewhere else, please ask for an authorization over at OB Forums so you can sync your work with the official repo, in case a waypointer starts modifying some waypoints you've edited on your own, and thus starts on an older version of them ^^' So there's one source, easily retrievable, accessible to everyone :)

Thanks for that omnibot link, Mateos thanks.gif . I read the "goals.gm" file of "xmas hills" and saw that you had a "plant one dynamite only" feature. Did you get that to work? That would be epic to use.

Hello,

Did not received any mail even though I track that topic, sorry...

The current Glider waypoints in Assembla repo have bots managed from start to Tank passed First Tank Barrier, with an Allied covi dropping a satchel charge from the top of the metallic structure above the Generator :)

You can have a counter to restrict to one dynamite, but that would cause a second Engineer who've dropped a dynamite to cancel arming his own.
You can also restrict an active goal to a certain number of bots, that works for any goal:

Maybe it can be configured in the goal properties, I'll see :)

As for ea_base1, haven't found any waypoints too :/

I'll start making your bots again after the festive season, Miss McB. If you want to see what bots I've made already go to Wolffiles and type, "botfiles", in the "file search" box. Some of my bots have been uploaded to there.
