im planing to setup ET server on AMD athlon 2.8+ 3x256 RAM and Suse linux.....
is that suitable configuration for let say 30 ppl ??

ET needs about 30MHz per player (40MHz on a Duron/Celeron) and about 128MB RAM (you need more for certain custom maps or servers with more than 32 players).

With your server you should be able to host 2 or 3 game servers (depending on game server size).

thats great to hear now i would have some more questions but i would like to contact a person thats familiar with server setup. i know u guys have few servers and i wonder if anyone could help me. plz leave mail or pm me.

yes that site is very useful but i would like to know how to connect to server with what program to upload map since im not familiar with linux and how to control server without having to be where server is and how to setup statistic and other stuff...later when i setup server succesfuly i would need some help along the way and i just want to have someone whos good with that so i can contact him without having to post on forum....
i know this sound im lamme and why i even bother seting up server but since we found a good connection and good server i think 1 good server is not too much. and i hate being on some servers with noobs in it and not being able to do anything bout it....
