WLAN Optimizer 0.21 Alpha Options

Version 0.21 Alpha contains three different tweaks: Disabling autoconfig (not recommended), disabling background scan (recommended), enabling streaming mode (recommended if disabling background scan alone doesn't work).
If Version 0.10 Alpha worked for you, version 0.21 Alpha should also. Just activate the "Disable background scan" tweak and leave the other tweaks untouched. If you experience problems, you can also try enabling streaming mode. Disabling autoconfig is not recommended (it's pretty much the same as disabling background scan, but you won't see any wireless networks in Windows).
You can make it start with Windows (e. g. minimized to tray). The tray icon will display the selected device's state (blue when connected, else grey).



Version 0.21 Alpha is a bug-fixed version of 0.20 Alpha and should work for the most people. It contains the following tweaks:

• Disabling autoconfig (admin rights needed)
• Disabling background scan (no admin rights necessary)
• Enabling streaming mode (no admin rights necessary, but driver dependent)

The user can choose which tweaks to use. However, I do not recommend to disable autoconfig (you won't see any networks in Windows).
