[splatterladder] Board _ RtCW/ET - Tips & Tricks _ Cant get Adminmod working :(

Posted by: Boosted Nov 22 2015, 06:04 PM

I fail.
Terribly.

Ive searched and searched but i havent been able to find out whats the Problem.

I did do the main Configuration, adjusted the Paths and everything but it wont start.
Log says: ./etadmin_mod.sh: 59: ./etadmin_mod.sh: -p:: not found
Hmm, what? grin.gif
The startup Script hasnt been modified except for the Base Path and the cfg name.

Trying to run it for a ETPro Server on a Ubuntu based Root Server.
Perl is installed and the Path is also correct.

Any Ideas?

set the "etadmin_mod.sh" attribute to "774", has been a while since I fired it up myself but check the startup.log again
maybe the line "59" is wer the error is at, not sure

Had it already on 777, on 774 its all the same.

Thought of the Line too.
Line 59 is: $PERL bin/etadmin_mod.pl $OPTIONS instanz_$INSTANZ_NAME $CONFIGS >>log/etadmin.log 2>&1 &

Doesnt tell me anything as well. grin.gif
Also thats in the Section where u are not supposed to modify anything,

Maybe you have to convert your shell script in linux format, in Windows format it makes this kind of error.

So type the command : dos2unix etadmin_mod.sh

And tell us xD

try the lua script -> http://www.wolffiles.de/index.php?filebase&fid=1238
It's the same like adminmod but it's easier to install ;)
