Syphonfilter Beta 1 I ran a few tests on this excellent new map, created by Devils Right Hand. My understanding of the German language is not good enough to post my feedback properly, so I'll have to post in English. Perhaps Stoer can translate the info for DRH, if he can't understand some of it? Anyway, here's the feedback so far. The map runs very well in ET: Legacy 2.75, it looks great too. Navigating your way around the map is straightforward, if you focus on the map objectives, i.e., destroy the woodfence, capture the forward flag, steal the laboratory key, destroy the R9 Devyatka missile, steal the documents and escape to the truck, located at the start of the map. I made a foolish mistake, when learning the map. I stole the laboratory key and instead of taking it to the lab door to open it, I ran to the truck with it . When I jumped into the back of the truck, like you do with the documents, the laboratory door opened anyway, I even received the written on-screen message, indicating that this was the case. I ran back to the laboratory and the door was indeed open. Also, the Allies can win the map simply by stealing the documents and getting them to the truck. You don't need to destroy the missile or computer servers first. I hope this feedback helps. -------------------- |

This problem is because the dropdown area is open for every deliverable objective. If you have two seperate objectives where you pick up and deliver stuff, the radiant does not distinguish between objective A and objective B. So you can deliver objective A to dropzone B and vice versa. Solution is to work around of this. For example, you pick up objective A and at this point only dropzone A is available. After objective A is delivered, lets say a door opens and now dropzone B and Objective B can be accomplished. Or in more simple words, never have two dropzones reachable at the same time. The dropzone is just a simple invisible brush and if enter this brush with an objective picked up, no matter which one, you activate every script block attached to the objective delivery of the entity you picked up. In your case you picked up a key and reached a dropzone. Then the key was 'delivered' yet to a different dropzone and the corresponding script block to this 'delivered' key was executed. ...I love scripting ;) ...........
