yesterday i tried to connect on your web silent server but had to dl many pk3s and when finally i joined your server u been gone :p

but mine question is about:

z_european_style_fd+rg and z_european_style_sb+so+gr+wr

what is better with that when it is installed on a silent server ? and did you need only these boths pk3s ?

I have been doing a lot of work on the silent server in the past week and have been trying different pk3's seeing what works, remember I asked about the vsay pk3 yesterday..... Well the European pk3's overwrite the sand and snow on most maps it's how we like it I would imagine that these days I could probably compile the two pk3's into one I just have not got around to it. Back in the day I think they tried to keep the mod pk3's as small as possible so it did not put off people from downloading. But these days even with our extensively modded server a standard internet connection should be able to download all that is required in a few minutes.

Edit and in answer to your question Yes you do need both....

yes i will try tonight depends if i have to woke up early or not

and did u made a server menu for silent 0.90 ?
we had a guy who tried at ets , the server does not crashed anymore but many stuffs for the menus been missing

Got half of it working for you Kate now you esc menu has ETS at top and when you click exit your website links are working...

The problem I have is the error message we are getting about your other in game sub menus is this

custom menus may not use onOpen event

if i could find the replacement i could fix it all!

Right Kate I have spent most of the afternoon going through the files in the pk3 and essentially the pk3 is flawed certain commands can be used to get rid of some errors but that does not make the menus work. I think to be honest it might be easier starting again!
Mainly because the menus are associated with the onOpen event trigger and it states here http://mygamingtalk.com/wiki/Silent_Creating_Custom_Menu custom maps cannot use that trigger i have searched and i cannot find an alternate trigger . Sorry Hun I have reached the limit of my skill on this but this version of the pk3 some bits work you may want to try it!

Also managed to find a working menu from another clan when I get time i'll see how difficult to get it working with all your details Kate.
