ET 2.60b and RtCW 1.41b patches out, RTCWET Options

Hmmm there is still something strange.

Someone can explain me why this damn patch 2.60b works for training and wars on official servers and not for public???
Have to switch exe files according to the place i will play And i precise The public servers that i try to reach are updated to this version b.

Only the old 2.60 version will work for public...


Somebody have the explaination?

First of all i have completely reinstalled my ET to be sure to have a clean install and it didn't changed aything to my problem...

Thanks for the little tips the explainations are well made and the patch selector is working fine but i still be disconnected with the message integrity error each time i'm trying to join a server

Where can i point out the problem? i have no error message in console or something. It's so boring since they created this 2.60b i couldn't play ET anymore.

I'm playing with a wireless connection is this can cause a problem or anything particular into my cfg?

The first step is to know why i have this integrity error then i can maybe solve the problem....

Any suggestion?

You shure you have Selected right Mod for server?
Make shure you have + You have Etpro 2.3.5 , .2.60 and 2.60b all in Et folder where patch selector is

Hello!

Nearly everytime when I try to go some server, it says: Incorrect ET.exe version.
I have already reinstall ET, but that fu*king thing always come.
Sometimes it doesn't come, but then when I almost get in server, it says: Unpure Client between blaa blaa server blaa blaa. :/
I have 2.60 update and 3.2.6 (??) ET Pro.
But its not working!!!

Ich habe auch eine Problem mit dem scheissen ET. Jedes mal bekomme ich "Integrity failure", wann wolte ich mit Server verbinden. Ich kann nicht vershhtehen, wofür war Patch 2.60b gemacht? Hat jemand diese Probleme gelöste oder nix? Ich wollte" ET-Quacke Wars" kaufen, aber nach diesem ich werde zuerst denken und danach kaufen

I think so...

I have only 2.60 on my client and join servers with 2.60b and it works, so I think it should work the other way too
before you patch you can make a backup of those files

First of all, it would be easier to use a patch selector. without it you would have to do a long process of change your ETDED and other files.

2nd you do not know what a .zip file is? How long have you used a computer lol (no offense ment man )

i now what a .zip file is but i think i dont have WINZIP but if i press right mouse then i also can choose unpack this file
and where can i find a patch selector and how do i use it

Unpack the file to a place you will find it. E.g. My Documents or something. When you unpack it... you will get two files. Patch and Sleep.

sleep is patch selector if you are using All Seeing Eye
patch is normal patch selector.

Put The Patch/Sleep (depends which one you are using) into you ET folder. Do not put in ETmain or etpub, just your et folder.
Put the etpro 2.3.5,2.60 and 2.60b all into same file location as patch selector.

double click patch selector to run it and choose your mod.

ok i now have a map with the name patch selector and i puted my 2.6b patch in they are both unpacked now
