Trueping?! Ne...um Himmels willen. Das Feature treibt von allen die Pings um ca. 50ms nach oben.

Ich muss eh gleich mal fragen, weiss einer wofür TRUEPING überhaupt gut ist? Ausser dem kosmetischen Ergebniss sehe ich keinen Nutzen in dieser Funktion. gruebel.gif

Ich glaube normalerweise ist der Ping = Framelaufzeit zum Server+Framelaufzeit zurück.
Mit trueping an ist der Ping = Framelaufzeit zum Server+Verarbeitungszeit auf dem Server+Framelaufzeit zurück.

Da Server mit sv_fps = 20 arbeiten, berechnet der Server Frames alle 1000ms/20 = 50ms - ich schätze daher kommen die zusätzlichen 50 ms. Wenn allerdings der Server (sprich die CPU) überlastet ist dann lässt er Frames aus - Lag entsteht - der (True)Ping erhöht sich.

Ich schätze also mit diesem Setting kann man besser CPU-Lag erkennen ...
