i think marika have a copy of the configuration file / the whole game from another player (a friend?) and his/her bindings too. marika pressed a key with this rename-binding and wonder what happened... is it magic?

This was the first thing I checked with Marika and it wasn't the reason. And when you check the stats for _black , you will see that this name is "virgin" and was never used before - no script or bind copied from elsewhere. So at yourself.

we checked the logfile and grep for both nicknames. after that we filter the lines to get only lines with "rename" in there. what we found was the line sony post before. there is no line like "!rename". so i can exclude that the admin changed ur nick. pls check your cfg files and key bindings. maybe u download a config or do a copy/paste. search for lines like this:
seta nick1 "seta name first_nick; set nicktoggle vstr nick2" seta nick2 "seta name second_nick; set nicktoggle vstr nick1" set nicktoggle "vstr nick1" bind X "vstr nicktoggle" X is the key to toggle between the nicknames.

As I stated above a bind or config wasn't the reason - this was the first thing we checked.

ragnar, mir is das jetzt zu doof das mühevoll zu übersetzen, eigentlich ist es den aufwand gar nicht wert. fakten: - markita wurde umbenannt in _black - sie schreibt ins forum und schildert ihr problem. - der admin macht sich sogar die mühe die logfiles durchzuchecken und sagt das er nichts finden kann was darauf hindeutet, das sie von einem admin umbenannt wurde. dabei hätte es gereicht wenn er gesagt hätte: "ich bin der einzige admin, ich war es nicht - es muss einen anderen grund dafür geben" -- ENDE -- alles andere ist rein spekulativ! sie hat sich umbenannt - wie auch immer, ob mit bindings oder anders - schnurz! dem admin zu unterstellen er würde die logfiles manipulieren, ist einfach lächerlich und unsachlich. an sonyfans stelle würde ich hier nichtmal mehr reinschauen - jemand der mir so blöd kommt, kann mich auch mal. -------------------- |

So... (me starts to whistle the X-Files theme) Someone/something changed Marikas name eh? It wasnt serveradmins nor the player herself... Virus maybe? You have gotten a troijan and then someone just changed your name during game
