Hi I'm /GS/JakeTheBam/GS/ from God Squad clan
ServerWatch 1.4 do not download this because it looks like it contains a virus, Two of our clan members downloaded this file and there on different sides of the world, they both experienced the same exact problems. This file will take Critacal files that windows need to have to run but it keeps the same file name and rewrite things in the file. If you have already downloaded the server watch you will have this file name urlmon.dll This file will not let you Delete it so this is one way to get the file off, this is only if you have one of the versions of Internet explorer 6.0 or something 1st step: Reinstall internet explorer to 7.0 2nd Step: Reboot your computer, there will be windows updates, accepted those 3rd Step: Crack a beer open (If your old enough) and enjoy your internet Oh yes, if you have Xfire, please contact waior and minnesotachubs they will send you the internet explorer 7.0 installer I AM COMPLETELY SERIOUS AND PLEASE DON'T INSTALL SERVER WATCH 1.4! (To splatter ladder Admin) I know I am not in control of this but I highly recommend that you take off the server watch 1.4 off so no one else has this same problem as Warrior and MinnesotaChubs do not happen again Thank you for reading my post Peace /GS/JakeTheBam/GS/ This post has been edited by /GS/JAKETHEBAM/SB/: Sep 9 2007, 07:15 AM |

If this thread handels ETServerWatch 1.4 I have something to say.
I`m the developer of this program. All files are checked by McAfee -Antivirus and also Bitdefender. No Virus was found. The Problem you discribed is the following: The file URLMON.dll is a Windows standard dll. The Installer of Version 1.4 have overwritten the original File in Windows\System32 folder wrongly instead only if the file not exists (Win 2k IMO) Against the warning of /GS/JAKETHEBAM/SB/ there is no virus or malware. The urlmon.dll problem was created by the original VB-package manager. Version 2.0 beta (see under schnoog.dl.am) uses Inno-Setup, so the file will not be overwritten. Sorry for the trouble you had with my application. greetz schnoog -------------------- |
