That's really strange, Ron, it works fine for me, I use "Firefox":
I wonder why you're getting that error, mate? -------------------- |

Did you manage to resolve that download problem at "Wolffiles", Ron?

I changed two of the main folders in "RtCW" again in order to use better HD textures than I had originally. The results have been very good :

The download works fine for me. Apparently the link that I got on another forum was just a bad link, so nevermind that.
Awesome HD texture work, Gman. Keep it up! -------------------- |

The texture pack for "RtCW" is bigger than the one for "Wolf: ET", but I'm getting there. -------------------- |

Yo$hik has just released two really good "RtCW" videos. The first one highlights 19 abandoned mapping projects and the second video showcases 10 projects still in development.
Enjoy the presentations : -------------------- |

Enjoy the presentations : As usual, Yo$hik has made some nice videos that showcase interesting and also important information for the community to see. A Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory single player mode is in development by William from 85 Productions, the same author of the Rtcw SP mod called The Dark Army! Reveal Trailer: Official Mod DB Page: https://www.moddb.com/mods/et This is incredible news! Finally, we might get to play the missing SP mode of Wolf ET. I don't know if many of us are aware of the excellent website, 'Lone Bullet', but it's definitely worth mentioning. It has many resources there for 'Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory' and 'Return to Castle Wolfenstein' too.
Here's a couple of links to the files hosted on their website: 1] Return to Castle Wolfenstein 2] Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory -------------------- |

Nope, I've never seen that before, same with that Lone Bullet website you posted above. It's great to see a variety of resources that are still available for these old but awesome games. -------------------- |

Here's a screenshot update from my 'RtCW' HD Pack : Those textures look nice and atmospheric. My only concern is on those final 2 screenshots, where the engraving on the walls appears to be a German soldier holding a rifle. I don't think such a thing would be found on an ancient crypt wall engraving. While my Castle Wewelsburg mod for Rtcw SP is temporarily stopped, I have something much smaller planned! My only concern is on those final 2 screenshots, where the engraving on the walls appears to be a German soldier holding a rifle. I don't think such a thing would be found on an ancient crypt wall engraving. The way I'm looking at it, Ron, is the way I always do, in respects to 'Return to Castle Wolfenstein' singleplayer and that's from a 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' perspective. I always see the German troops moving into enemy territory, completely taking it over with all their flags, banners, posters and even their own architecture. They build on what's already there and make it their own . While my Castle Wewelsburg mod for Rtcw SP is temporarily stopped, I have something much smaller planned! Please take the time to read this article: Great article, mate, I can't wait to receive our 'RtCW' Christmas present from you . -------------------- |
