If such a system is in place, a further step could be to challenge the server via rcon (negative= we need to know the rcon password... so if you don`t trust me it`s a no-go).

Just like the challenges that were sent by Punkbuster when it was tracking the cheating players, Schnoog? We also wouldn't have any problem giving you our server rcon password, bro.

Hi all,
to proceed with the "scanner" part,I need support from some server admins.

The theory behind the scanner (all done with the help of rcon, which means only admins trusting in me would be able to use the service [maybe I`m able to write some interface later on, but not at the moment]):

Step1: Get information if PB is running (send pb_sv_ver )
If so, get pb_sv_plist, and iterate through it and fetch CVAR Data, IP , GUID
If not, fetch the data by rcon status
Step2: Bring the data into the database

Step3: Check each player-dataset against the cheat-database
If listed there -> actions.


But to develop all the code, I need rcon access to some server (with real player on it), both, PB enabled and disabled. Also some server with the YAMOD and Silent AC would be very helpful.

So, if you trust me and own such a server, I would really appreciate if you could send me the server-data (ip:port, rconpassword) via PM.
I will not make any bans or changing something. It`s just for fetching the data

Hey,

This is an old follower but never registered SL user. I've a NQ server with pb off, and 23-30 players average. This system would be very helpful and i hope it gets completed and nq-compatible. I've already sent you the data and If you need any other help needed related to scripting or stuff, my limited knowledge is at your disposal

Ich hätte es selber gemacht , nur hab ich keine Ahnung in welcher Datei ich es umstellen müsste... :/
