thanks for reply my conection is terra 1mb i live in spain one thing i have a friend and this have telefonica 512kb and he don't have lag the problem is my computer??

Under Options->System set your connection to "LAN/Cable/xDSL".

Enable lagometer and FPS-display -> open console and enter the commands:
set cg_lagometer 1 resp. set cg_drawfps 1 This will show if the problem is the connection or your PC. Pick servers near you, this should improve your ping. Play on ETPro servers - ETPro has good Antilag-code which should help you. -------------------- Silver horses ran down moonbeams in your dark eyes. |

i have one ati radeon 2900se graphic target and the ftps is a small number one thing i have 256 ram memori it is little ram memori for playing this game???

A 9200SE should be enough (I have a GeForce2) and 256MB are enough too.

Ok then which can be the problem can be that it he has or spyware also I have the opened ports i also I have a very high ping and there are servers that not em stop to enter because only they admit pings low what is the problem??

Maybe you share your connection with a lot of other people, as it happens in some dorms, or even if you have cable (like shaw where I live).

The lagometer appears on the right side. Here is an article "How to read the lagometer" - when you get alot of jitter and spikes the main reason for the lag is your connection.
The FPS is displayed above it. It should be over 70 indoors and at least above 20 outdoors. Additionally it should not vary to much up and down. Here an image how it could look like:

Install a firewall or enable it if you use WindowsXP. This should block some spyware. Additionally there are several spyware detectors (and removers) available on the net, e.g. HijackThis or Spybot S&D. Even Microsoft is about to release AntiSpyware for free.
