Servers out of ranking..., Ausgeschlossene Server aus dem SL-Ranking Rating Options

etpub 0.8.0 now shows g_damagexp in serverinfo . NHLFAN requested it as he told here and its now in the latest nighty builds. sl admins can check 0.8.0 servers for the info easy now.
But i know for sure many admins wont use the latest nighty build since many always used 0.6.5 when nighty builds where there.. i updated my server to it today. my g_damagexp setting is on 0

And u are right hell, there are many servers still running 0.6.5 don't understand why??? Gues some ppl like bugs, hate improvments and shit like that... We have our server on 0.7.1 and default damage xp but ill update it to 0.8.0 just in case... Damn i would love to see all servers updating to 0.8.0 or maybe even better u could set this as condition for beeing tracked by SL ??? I think would be great u write this in news section,forums that all servers not having 0.8.0 or more(later on...) will be excluded from rankings ??? This is the only and the easyest way to ever have fair stats here!!! And it wouldn"t be such a big thing a bit questioning in the begining "why our server was excluded blablalba" and with time servers admins will run 0.8.0 !!!

you got a point there with excluding them if not using it. but that will be a lot of servers i think. Cause most will update it to 0.7.1 cause its official. if most are smart and like the official more then nighty's they must download the nighty but it has only the serverstring info addition. but hard to go disable all servers that dont use 0.8.0 And dont think that would be a good idea to do then. if there is a notice about it in the main post of this whole thread more admins will use it for what i think :)

But g_damageXp on 0 lol I saw a server that has g_damagexp 1 is that allowd? Mabey you huys must do allowd G_damageXp 3 ore 2 ore 5...

g_damagexplevel is default 50 i just made it 0

and what about etpub servers without running pb on? they still get rated ! doesnt seem fair to me alsow with pb off nothing is right... they get a lot of server rating points why they shouldnt have earned it cause pb is turned off, they are having pb off for so long and i am not talking about etpro servers. SO if servers get disabled for g_damagexp 1 they must alsow get disabled for not having pb on!

it has 213 rating points its going up everyday. while it has pb off always. If all server admins go do that since that server is allowed aswell, see how rating goes again for servers. And if i remember correct pb off serves should get excluded from rating but thats not happening. So easy to mess server rating up again by turning pb off cause server wont be excluded from it.

But the players and the gamerounds are ignored as long there is no PB on

Just click on the playernames, which are currently playing on this server, you will see a icon in the "Flags" section, if you do a mouseover this flag you can read more

I took 1 hour of my time (checked first 30 server pages) to show you guys doing your job quiet bad.
Click on players who play on that server.You say players are disabled from rankings if pb is off, well here u have another thing which sucks at SL. FTW ? They are ranked. LOL ---> Cheaters can be ranked too - OMFG.

And one more thingy, there are 4000 servers, but only on pub you reach modified xp rating that means 592 servers and no 4000.
So if you're an admins of SL than do your job as it should be, and why would other give names of modified servers when you can do it (its like ---->Why would you choose players for your SL clan? I can do it too lol ? ).
And if you are running this thing try to make it fair to all, so many bugs i saw in SL i just cant believe.

we are investing our FREE TIME! we don't get money, we don't asking for money

it's quite fair for all, we've already talked with the dev's of etpub, so in the next version (which will be 0.8.x) there will be a automatic process for this.

and last but not least:
instead of FLAMING and COMPLAINING you can also tell us these "many" bugs (you may have found)!
if you have found bugs then report them!


EDIT/UPDATE:
I've now checked these servers, and they get a ranking/rating, because these are ETPRO servers!
As you may know: ETPro has his own cheatprotection!

In other words:
newest etpro without punkbuster enabled -> gets ranked
other mod with punkbuster enabled -> gets ranked
other mod without punkbuster enabled -> dont get a ranking
