habe da mal ein frage...bin ich eigentlich im richtigen treath? hmm, keine ahnung...
...versuche es trozdem: habe doch egstern, ausversehen, mal bei warhammer reingeschaut  . seit dem komm ich nicht mehr auf die hirntod server  ... 'incorrect et version'?!?  sind aber beides 2.60 (mein rechner & der server), kann mir da jemand intelligentes helfen?  vielen dank ille ps: andere 2.60 server funzen weiterhin gut

 .....ob ich intelligent bin weiss ich net aber ich weiss woran es liegt. Der gemeine WH war es jedenfalls nicht!  Ok...die Lösung....Hirntot hat auf den neuen ETPro 3.2.6 geupdated. Dieser Mod ist von Bani so programmiert worden das er dazu zwingt den Buffer Overflow Patch ET-2.60B auch auf Deinem Client zu verwenden. Sprich, Du musst Deine ET.exe gegen die neue gefixte Version tauschen. Dann kann der liebe Ille  wieder "ausversehen"  auch auf seinem Lieblingsserver Hirntot zocken.   Hier die beiden Dateien für Client und Server (für Dich unrelevant) als Download für Mac, Win und Linux: Windows: http://wolfmap.gameprophets.com/details.php?file_id=1624 Linux: http://wolfmap.gameprophets.com/details.php?file_id=1623 Mac: http://wolfmap.gameprophets.com/details.php?file_id=1622 Mache aber Kopien von den Originaldateien da es auf anderen Servern je nach Mod noch diverse Kompatibiltätsprobleme geben kann. P.S: Habe mal Dein Topic ins RTCW Community geschoben.

If you're playing with ET 2.60 then you have to play on Servers running ETPro 3.2.5 or older.If you installed the new 2.60b Patch you have to play on Servers running 3.2.6 .
If you disregard those "Rules" you get kicked from the Server saying "Incorrect ET.exe Version" (2.6 @ ETPro 3.2.6) or "Integrity Failure" (2.60b @ ETPro 3.2.5) |

how can i remove the patch?

Guys there a much eaiser way.
http://xfire.be/?x=article&mode=item&a...d=594&nav=2 Go to this website. Download patch selector. Its the quickest way i know of changing your et pro patch. Download it and put it in your ET file (not et main or anything just Wolfenstein Enemy Territory) . Once yuo have installed it there make shure you have etpro 2.60b.exe and 2.3.5.exe copied to the same location as the patch selector. Now when ever you need to change patch, open up the patch selector in your et folder and click the mod you want. (click patch). Now in your etfolder there will be a new link to start ET (still called ET.exe) Open this to activate your new patch. (NOTE: You have to go to patch selector everytime you need to switch between the two, once you have clicked patch, the ET.exe file will have been updated. You only have to go to the ET.exe once that is in the etmain folder once to activate BUT you cannot activate the patch by using a the desktop link or through the start menu. E.g Change patch, then open ET using your Destop ET link will not work. BUT Changing patch and going through the et link through the et folder will activate the new patch, from then on oyu can use your destop link/start menu link to play the game. You only have to use the et folder link to activate a different patch ) You do not have to back up your etded.exe file with this because it updates it aswell This post has been edited by Eradicated: Oct 12 2006, 05:07 PM --------------------  |
