I started to play on WeedHeaven again after I leave that place couple months ago when i start to somehow recive negative results in my SL-rate even when I was only in spec! That happened many times b4 I was sure that it wasnt wise/fair place for me to be there anymore. After a while I desided to make a quick visit there after months and first I tought everything was just fine. I played couple of weeks there and soon I had collected like 80.000xp and my rate rised above 20 and so on. I was also number one in servers toplist. Anyway soon enough I started to notice again some statistic bugs from that server. Like b4 I went to check in SL after I played map how I have done this time. There appears to be strange minuses in rate, in situations where b4 there were very positive results. Like usually when I had got fragger status, kill rate good 1/4 and playing/saving objective. First I tought I misunderstood it but time after time somehow it all just seemed to be so wrong. So T started to keep my own records about those maps and I also followed other players work and statics. After that I really noticed that there was something weird. When I compared saved results in SL, first of all I noticed that my amount of XP points was lacking coz my played time was somehow reduced 1min up to 5min even when I played map from the beginnig to the end with everyone else. Also my ppm-rate strangely droped. Sometimes I remember situations when I killed like 3 enemy example with a nade and in game the whole incident passed out in rolling-text section or in console. However multikill effect appeared with my name... Is there someone who knows what causes this? Perhaps some new SL-tests or is there something wrong in WeedHeaven again???

The forum name is REPORT NEWS HERE and honestly I think that this is not a news.
There is a so called [splatterladder] - Support where you can get support for sl. Anyway, here it is the explanation (i think this is your problem, already discussed on this forum): CITAZIONE That was one of the latest leaks of the Sl: Playing on servers with version 2.55 installed prefers skilled player instead of 'noobish'-ones. Take a look at the global toplist, especially the first 100-150 ranks. They were mostly all playing on 2.55 servers against unskilled player. We do not want to honer that with good ratings. This is to support the "evenly matched" play.

Peace no war! ![]() We aint spoiling youre rate :) Alsow to sl we noticed that when players sometimes to go ping 1, sl wont count it. I tought it was from 4 ms that it wouldnt count. Thats something i cant stop cause people got good connection and g_trueping is on -------------------- |

What's the point to develop a reward system for "who completed the objective" if the server does not send that kind of informations? What the server allow "to see" about players are Nickname, Ping and eXPerience as far as I know.
Based only on XP, its unlikely to find who completed the objectives, I think. -------------------- |

This was good knowledge to me! :) I already forgot whole "harmfull rate" thing but there were again some strange results after we played Marrakech map. First of all I did played whole map from the begining in the end without any kind of breakes but anyway it seems like my total-playtime is somehow reduced by 5min. Example MaSmOrRa played with me whole map and he got 29min played time. In everyone elses that shows like it should 29-30min but not in my case... it was just 25,5min..??? again... ![]() Second thing is weird also coz my ppr-rate was so low (16,86) even I killed 82/28, made quite nice reviveing job and so on. We didnt recall MaSmOrRa's exact numbers but I guess it was something around 45/30 but anyway he got almost same ppr-rate than me (16,14). So I dont wonder at all these numbers if there really IS some sort of "bug" or other intentional/unintentional act which erased some of my playtime/acquired XP-points. So far everything else has been going well but there is time after time this kind of unexplained reductions in my stats but this one was quite significant and clear. Too bad if these "bugs" from played server causes that you cannot be sure is your statics really that what those should be. After all I think this raises up a question how reliable data are sended from servers... Waiting for all your thoughts! ![]() ps. sorry bad english... =/ |

I have been spend my precious time and I examined more that rate thing.
There some more bad news... it seems like it could do it for everyone. I really just dont know why but sometimes it wont calculate some players achivement even u have been played the whole map like everyone else... =o( btw. You can delete this topic coz I dont wanna give people get that wrong image that there is something wrong only in WeedHeaven. We all know now you cannot count on S.L. statics thats for sure. Somebody need to find out first some solution how to fix that bugs and get rid off recived distorted map details. So long... KEEP ON ROCKING FELLAZ! ![]() |
