What happens if a clan steal a banner/logo of an other site for making
an own banner/logo?  What can we do for protect our work/time/money that we have spent for making this banner/logo? Example: There is a clan ... the tag is *MK*. They have a banner for their forum in swf format (flash movie) . One of the images that they have used is a logo of http://enemy-territory.4players.de:1041 web site.  this is the link http://mk-clan-et.npage.eu/link_us_34142958.html The worst is that they use the same banner for LINK US !!! How is it possible? How can we protect?

Have you a copyright on the image? If so use a lawyer to make your rights visible. If you are lucky a court agrees with your copyright and the other has to pay a fine.
In every case you have to use ur own money first to get a lawyer working for you... -------------------- cheers Tom

Just contact them and tell them your point of view. I'm sure they'll remove it.

Yeah, wait, reality check. Why not sueing everybody just for a little internet graphic. Or should we even kill them? Image copying is a real mortal sin!
